Bathroom renovations

Tile, fixtures, plumbing, the works — done so the next owner can't tell when it was done.

A note on what actually breaks: the two ways bathroom renovations fail are skipped waterproofing and tile chosen under showroom lighting. We use a full Schluter Kerdi membrane on every wet area — showers, tub surrounds, niches — taped, sealed and pressure-checked before a single tile goes up. For tile selection, we’ll spend an evening in your bathroom with samples under your actual lighting before anything is ordered; returning tile mid-project is where bathroom renovation budgets and timelines slip. Plumbing rough-ins go through licensed trade partners, drain shifts are quoted up front, and large-format porcelain and natural stone are the materials we recommend most often across the GTA — both for durability and for resale value when the time comes.

Most bathroom projects are 2–4 weeks on site. A standard 5-piece bathroom in a Mississauga or Toronto home usually runs $25K–$45K depending on the tile and fixtures you pick. Smaller powder rooms run lower. Primary ensuites with steam, freestanding tubs or full re-layouts run higher.

Common questions

Bathroom renovations — FAQs.

  1. 01 How do you price a project?

We give a fixed price tied to a written scope. Where you haven't picked specific products yet (tile, fixtures, cabinetry), the quote shows an allowance for that line item. If your selections come in under the allowance, you keep the difference; over, the change is itemized before we order. No surprise bills at the end.

  2. 02 Who is on site every day?

We run one project at a time with a master builder on site every working day. You'll see the same faces from start to finish. Specialty trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) come in for their portion and leave when it's done.

  3. 03 Do you warranty your work?

Two-year workmanship warranty on everything we install. Manufacturer warranties on products carry through to you. If something fails because of how we built it, we come back and fix it — that's the deal.

  4. 04 How far out are you booked?

Usually 4–8 weeks for a start date, though that shifts with the season. Smaller projects (a bathroom, a deck) can sometimes slot in sooner. Call us and we'll be straight about what we can fit.
